Agrani Bank PLC. a state-owned Commercial Bank invites proposals for providing services as Chief Financial Officer (in the rank of General Manager) on Contractual Basis with full executive power, responsibility and accountability of the Central Accounts Division of the Bank from eligible Bangladeshi candidates who must have qualifications and experiences mentioned below:
Education: The candidate must be Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Management Accountant (CMA) or Certified Financial Analyst (CFA) or same professional Degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA), Master of Bank Management (MBM), Post Graduate Degree on Economics, Finance, Accounting or Banking from recognize University.
Experience: The candidate must have at least 10 (ten) years experience in Bank or Financial Institution including at least 3 (three) years experience on Accounts of Bank or Taxation.
Age Limit: Maximum age as on 25-04-2024 should not over 60 Years.
Employment Status: Contractual and Full-time.
Tenure: Initially 02 (two) years.
Remuneration: Negotiable.

Job Description:
- To buildup a powerful and effective financial discipline and strengthen the accounting capacity of the
Bank.
- To implement the policy & procedures relating to Financial Management, Accounting, Budget and Planning, and to improve the quality of Banking Operation.
- To develop the financial strategy of the Bank and strengthen the financial capability of the bank.
- To undertake a program for supplying key management information to the management/ regulatory authority.
- To update the bank's accounting systems as per International Accounting Standard (IAS), Bangladesh Bank guidelines and Bank Company Act. Reviewing the Institutions financial conditions to position and recommend viable alternatives for cost effective operations of the Bank.
- To assist the Bank in the field of Financial and Management Accounting, Costing and Auditing. Other fields of important activities will include developing and implementing computerized accounting system and management accounting system.
- To provide recommendations on accounting split between good and bad assets.
- To establish a powerful and effective accounting system of the bank and to help for preparing accounts of the bank timely.
- To strengthen the effective fund management of the bank.
- To Review the various financial statements including annual financial statements, develop and improve the deficiency, if any.
- Capable to handle Tax authority regarding Corporate Tax, Employee Tax, Source Tax and VAT.
- To perform any other responsibilities as and when assigned by the authority.
- Any Creative and Innovative Footstep in Banking/Financial Sectors.
- Any Publication in National/International Journals.
